I started in my position as a systems developer in Danske Bank, Business Online this Monday January, 2nd, and already on the second day I joined the status meetings. On the third day I aided and guided my mentor in GUI development with CSS. It felt good.:).

Thursday and Friday were two very inspiring, intense, and exhausting days. I went on an introductory course along with 19 other newly started developers from Danske Bank. We started out Thursday morning around 05:30 and were back home Friday evening at 18:15. Two long days with outdoors work, indoors education, presentations, discussions, and much more. My body and mind is exhausted and my back still hurts from the physical exercises they put us through! In a good way, that is... The team of instructors from TVM, Stig, Henrik and John, really made me feel like a human being again: using rarely used muscles, taking fundamental discussions with little known colleagues, and best of all: creating a network of 19 like-minded, who also just started in this giant corporation with 19.000 employees. This is most likely the largest IT systems development department in Denmark - and I am now a part of it!

Tomorrow is Monday again, and my second week of work is coming on to me really fast. I am looking forward to it.
